Conventional “Diversity & Equity” programs have failed to address bias in the workplace, and to improve equity in recruitment and career advancement for women and persons of colour. Now more than ever, leaders and management are under intense pressure to address bias in the workplace. In “Know Yourself to Know Others” Dr. Sean Hayes introduces our innovative, engaging and evidence-based workshop for professionals developed in collaboration with STA Communications (http://www.stacommunications.com/). This program draws from psychology and management literature to creates awareness of implicit bias among participants, and discusses effective strategies to mitigate its impact at work.
